MGX Minerals Inc. announced a Rights Offering to shareholders of record on August 12, 2016, on the basis of one right for each common share held. Four rights will entitle the holder to subscribe for one unit of the Company (a "unit") upon a subscription price of $0.18. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable into one common share at a price of $0.20 per share for a period of 24 months from the issuance date of the Units.

The rights will trade on the Exchange under the symbol XMG.RT commencing on August 10, 2016 and will expire at 5:00 pm (Toronto Time) on September 16, 2016.

Trading in the rights will be halted at noon on September 16, 2016.
