About Our Presenters
Tom Brown, CA
Tom is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of senior management experience in finance, operations and business management in investment dealers and financial institutions in Canada and the USA. As a management consultant, he has focused on corporate governance and internal controls over financial reporting and computer operations.
Himanshu Shah, CMA, ACA, LL.B
Himanshu is a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Accountant (India) with over 25 years of international business and consulting experience. He has consulted to clients on finance and accounting processes and systems; corporate governance and internal controls; and risk management. Prior to starting his own consulting Himanshu spent 11 years in the Consulting and Risk Management practices of Deloitte & Touche in Toronto. In recent months he has spent extensive hours studying IFRS.
Stephen Warden, CA
Stephen is a partner in the boutique CA firm of Parker Simone with a practice focus on entrepreneurial companies and tax planning and compliance. His client mix is mainly entrepreneurial companies that are public issuers or are planning to be public issuers. A number of their clients are in the mining industry. For 28 years previously, Steve was a partner with KPMG LLP in its financial services and entrepreneurial practices in Toronto.
