H-Source is a new resource for member hospitals to privately buy and sell products and equipment with each other. Our cloud-based platform combines a user-friendly, web-based marketplace with data and reporting features specific to software systems in hospitals. Additionally, H-Source provides an opportunity for IDNs or customized groups of hospitals to privately communicate to buy and sell independently. Issues such as: outdates, physician preference changes, restrictive manufacturer return policies, contract changes, product upgrades, multiple ownerships and software systems cause billions of dollars of losses for our hospitals annually. H-Source is focused directly on supporting our member hospitals with a resource that takes on these challenges. Our mission is to maximize the efficiencies in supply chain, increase operating margins, and support sustainability.
