Murchison Minerals Ltd. is a public Canadian company and the result of the reverse takeover of Manicouagan Minerals Inc. by Flemish Gold Corp. in June 2014. The Company is focused on the exploration and development of distinctive mineral properties in Uganda and Canada. Murchison Minerals holds a large land position of 1,200 square kilometres in central Uganda by way of mineral exploration licenses situated in highly favourable geology and a mineral-rich district. The Company has first-mover advantage in Uganda and its significant land package is underexplored. Murchison also holds mineral properties in Canada located in areas with potential for base metals, precious metals, alumina and rare earth elements. Murchison Minerals has a management team with a history of discoveries and a wealth of experience in exploration and development.
